“The best 3D action game ever made.”
— PC Gamer

“Beautifully paced... Half-Life ranks without question as a landmark game.”
— Computer Gaming World

“Score: 11 out of 10.”
— PC Accelerator

If you thought all action games were the same, think again. Half-Life's intricate environmental challenges, rich storyline, and frighteningly intelligent adversaries add up to a new kind of game — one that demands you use your weapons and your wits.

In the full version of Half-Life, you'll go deeper into the mystery of the Black Mesa Facility, doing battle with dangerous aliens and extraordinarily cunning government forces intent on your destruction. Survive long enough and you may be able to unravel a web of secrets that will lead you to the alien world of Xen.

Sophisticated Artificial Intelligence
Enemy behavior is uncomfortably realistic. Many creatures not only see and hear you, they track you by your scent.

Advanced Graphics Engine
16-bit rendering (65,000 colors) with 24-bit support for 3D graphics cards means your opponents are as lifelike as they are challenging.

32-Person Internet Multiplayer
Take on up to 31 human opponents on popular multiplayer sites including WON.NET or through services such as Gamespy — or set up your own server.
